About Sarah Bennett

A former K-12 Art and Public School Teacher, Sarah is a member of the Colorado and National Art Education Associations. Utilizing her Fine Arts degree and MA in Psychology, along with her 20 years of teaching experience and 10 years as a Child and Family Therapist, she created a nonprofit life-sharing community for young adults with developmental challenges. Now retired, Sarah is an avid volunteer for East Side Art Institute. She is passionate about community, the natural world, and the arts - believing the arts enrich society by bringing together people of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and abilities. Sarah enjoys painting, pottery, and fabric arts in her Crestone, Colorado studio.
