Fee includes 25 lbs. of clay, instruction, bisque and glaze firings.
Raku is a Japanese firing process using post firing reduction. During this class students will explore multiple raku techniques. This is a firing class. We will fire on weeks 2, 3, and 4. Our first class will be an overview and information on making pieces for successful firing.

 

Week one: Students will make pieces to be fired for week two.
Week two: First Raku firing and students will work on making pieces for week three.
Week three: Students will fire and make pieces for week four.
Week Four: Last Raku firing.
