Two Day Event:  September 23 & 24, 10 am – 5 pm each day

Experience the natural beauty and expansive landscape of the Rocky Mountain Front Range at East Side Art Institute’s first annual Plein Air Event.

We are welcoming artists from near and far to set up their easels and capture the simple beauty of our peaceful surroundings.  With the spirit and energy of our 14-acre campus to inspire them, we look forward to seeing their final artwork on September 24^th.  We will end that day with a Plein Air Exhibition and Awards event. As the day concludes visitors will have the opportunity to add exceptional artwork to their collection.

While painters paint, visitors will have the opportunity to stroll around, exploring our campus and observing the artists’ creative processes.  Once a working farm, this acreage has allowed nature to take its course for decades as evidenced by our mature trees.  Admire a row of beautiful spruce near our back boundary, and relax under aspen, cottonwood, or crabapple trees. Our elderberry trees will likely be adding their ripe purple berries to the colors of approaching fall.
