East Side Art Institute has purchased 14.27 acres on 10500 Isabelle Road in Boulder County to build its new campus. We recognize and honor the Indigenous peoples of this region, Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute, on whose ancestral lands the campus of East Side Art Institute will now reside.
The property is located on the eastern corridor of Boulder County and provides an extraordinary opportunity to bring the arts to Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Erie, Lafayette, Longmont, Louisville, and Niwot.
The site is .2 miles from an RTD bus stop located at Hwy. 287 (107th) and Isabelle Road, and additional public transportation for students who may need special transportation is available through VIA or RTD Access-a-Ride. Isabelle Road is also a Boulder County designated bike route for those students who choose to bike.
ESAI will renovate one of the existing agricultural buildings and build new structures to provide 15,000 square feet of space to house classrooms, studios, cleanup areas, an exhibition area, a supply shop, a community room, and a kitchen for hosting events and much more. A large open shed will house ceramic kilns for wood and salt firings, a metal shop, and sculpture space. This unique rural setting will provide privacy and inspiration from nature.
