Program Overview

ESAI’s opening program will be in ceramics. As the public interest grows, programs in metal, wood, glass, painting, drawing, and sculpting will be implemented into the schedule.

Weekend workshops in various art forms will be offered several times a year, sometimes for beginners and sometimes for advanced students with master artists.

The programs at East Side Art Institute will include classes and workspace for adults and children alike. Small class sizes, with a maximum of 15 students, will enable instructors to provide personal attention.

Special programs will include curriculum for home-schooled students and college students, certificate programs, apprenticeships, and an artist-in-residency program. Classes and workshops for families will also be a focus.

Bringing people of all ages into the same space to share their experiences, insights, and accomplishments achieves a uniquely fulfilling experience.

The educational experience will be based on meeting the needs of each individual student. Supervised practice time will allow each student to progress at his or her own speed and improve skills every week.
